About SHSRC - Introduction

The State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC) serves as Maharashtra's premier technical resource institution for public health. Established in July 2008 under the National Rural Health Mission (now National Health Mission), SHSRC provides comprehensive technical assistance to strengthen the state's health system.

Our Role

SHSRC functions as a knowledge hub and technical support organization for the Public Health Department and National Health Mission in Maharashtra. We provide evidence-based guidance, conduct research and evaluations, build capacity of health personnel, and support policy formulation and implementation.
